7. Explain how photosynthesis occurs.

Group #7----------> Tuzong, Destiny, Stephon, Francisco

Photosynthesis occurs only in plants. It converts and supplies the plant with energy and glucose. There's also a photosynthesis equation:
Carbon Dioxide + Water -----------(Sunlight + Chlorophyll)------> Glucose + Oxygen
Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water to oxygen. A major part of photosynthesis is chlorophyll. Found at the chloroplast, the chlorophyll gives the plant the color green and absorbs sunlight. Photosynthesis is affected by the tempeture, the light intensity, amount of carbon dioxide, the amount of water gathered by the plant, and the presence of certain minerals. Although Photosynthesis only occurs in the Chloroplast, photosynthesis requires light to be able to continue. The raw materials for photosynthesis is carbon dioxide and water while the product of the raw materials when it undergoes photosynthesis is glucose and oxygen.
